Please Note: Our prayers and offerings are liken to the fragrance of frankincense we do not have to burn incense this was an order for the priesthood doing mosaic period concerning the ministry of the tabernacle and temple. However, today incense symbolically points to our prayers and offerings please do not go burning incense in the name of Yeshua (Jesus) or let anyone tell you otherwise refer to scriptures below for the Truth.
“And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms (offerings,gifts) are come up for a memorial before God.” -Acts 10:4
“…bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the frankincense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.” -Leviticus 2:2
“I have all I need and more, now that I have received your gifts from Epaphroditus. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.” -Philippians 4:18
