Is there a difference between doing what is right compared to doing that which is popular? Let us allow scriptures to explain because according to the words of Yeshua (Jesus) we must “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14; John 10:7) In other words If we follow the ways of this world, we will join many.
One of the best things about our faith in the Messiah is that we do not have to prove our righteousness before people because the more you have to prove your righteousness in the eyes of others, the more you are glorifying yourself. But we are required to sharpen, the sword (word) of others while this sword sharping can only happen if the word is continuously sharpening yours. (Hebrew 4:12) This is our greatest hope and faith that we remain servants unto the Lord we have no earthly stake in whom God increases for we either water or plant being “…unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” (Luke 17:10; Matthew 17:14-21; Mark 9:14-29; Luke 9:37-42) For we are in Christ who was sinless but yet He was tried, found guilty, but yet He was innocent, He suffered, and yet He did not exalt Himself while doing the will of the one who sent Him. In other words, whatever the Messiah honored according to all that is written concerning Him we can safely ask ourselves this question when in doubt. What Would Jesus Do? (WWJD)
Being watch throughout His entire ministry by the spirit of the evil one and the naysayers who even followed Him to the grave because of fear of loss. Nevertheless, what they failed to understand that he was the light, for it is written: “…if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me.” (John 9:5; John 12:43) Have you measure your conversations lately. Who are we really lifting up? How many times this year has someone asked you where do you fellowship?
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and from, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive…” (Ephesians 4:14; Isaiah 57:20)
Cotton Field
There are two types of people in this world, those who follow and those who lead and with social media the following mindset has greatly increased over the last decade in a half. Is social media the new cotton field of America? An addiction that is a driving force of young and old alike teaching every nation that embraces her to be slaves while anyone can be your master. Our daughters that should be enjoying their childhood playing hide-n-seek, riding bicycles, Double-Dutch and playing with dolls are prostituting themselves via internet; and our sons are disobeying the parents’ commands just to record themselves fighting one another in the streets to never to return home, again. What is fueling this epidemic? Idolatry. Most entertainers have kids too and we cannot call on the idols of entertainment world to solve the same problems they are having inside their homes. We call on Yahweh, for it is written:
“Behold, I will send Elijah the prophet he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers…” Malachi 4:5-6
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other.” Matthew 6:24
Off-duty
Having the opportunity to speak with an off-duty officer this week I asked him this question. Is it possibly for an officer of the law to really be off duty? He paused for a few seconds to wrestle with his thoughts which shows his underlining intelligence and while laughing he said, “no.” Why? Because he is trained to be a professional and he must carry that professionalism until he reaches the foot of his bed. When you have been trained to be a professional at something that you do, for a living. You carry that professionalism and training even into your personal life.
Yeshua (Jesus) was a professional carpenter by trade, and He carried this same professionalism as a master builder during His ministry as the only begotten Son of God. We can find the Hebrew transliteration, of the word son is ben(H1121) which means builder of the family or son; and Christ not the Universal Church is the master builder of our temples; moreover, we are the church, and our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
We have heard and seen teachers, nurses and doctors intervene in dire situations while “off-duty” and even the airline industry will ask a RN or Medical Doctor are they willing to help if a health emergency arises during flight. I have seen many schoolteachers pull young boys and ladies aside to share truth with them outside of the school walls. Wherever you go make sure to carry your gift with you because it is written: “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great men.” Proverbs 18:16 Those who follow you will eventually mimic your ways are liken to a child that watches their parent(s) without many words being spoken, indeed that child learns.
As an Athletic Director in the late 90’s of a private school many young teens walk up to me and said, “they hope to mirror my faith and hope when they get my age,” and while several had single parents they would call me after work hours to stop by to talk with their sons (builders) because the evil one was tampering with their foundation. Who can operate in a lifestyle of darkness and then expect to cast forth light? Christ’s word is the light that challenges us to divide or separate ourselves from the chains of darkness. However, the evil one comes to challenge those who partake of his kingdom on earth, for it is written: “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” (John 14:30)
The Perfect Day
“Did you not know that the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.” Proverbs 4:17-18
In the Parable of the Ten Virgins, Yeshua gives a clear picture of what is going to take place on that perfect day. The number ten points a type of spirituality of the church (you) and also the Jewish gathering for a wedding banquet. A special prayer and commencement are spoken by each guest publicly using the sacred name of the Lord by all guest who wishes to pray out loud for the newlyweds.
Yod is the 10TH letter of the Hebrew letter and is related to the meaning of the word hand we first read about the word hand in Genesis 3:22. “Then the Lord God said, “Behold the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” “Ten as stated by Evan. Ed is the amount of testimony. Considered as twice Five, ten stands for responsibility, intensified, signifying the measure of responsibility and its judgment or rewards.”
God asked Moses to stretch forth his hand over the red sea. The sea judge those who followed vainly and rewarded those who followed justly. (Read Exodus 14:27). Yeshua will judge and reward on the day of Eternal Sabbath which will point to our ‘eternal rest.’ He teaches His disciple to be watchful of the many tricks of the enemy while away on His long journey. “And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace…, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” (Mark 3:1-5; Matthew 12:9-14; Luke 6:6-11)
Spiritual
Your spirituality consists of a continuousness movement in building, growing and multiplying in the kingdom of God, it is the reason to our season, for this cause. I am watchful when listening to men on radio or TV who have died before they came into the fullness of God’s word concerning spirit and truth. Their organization are still playing their teachings and sermons talking about we are not under the law (truth). The divine knowledge and revelation of God’s word has not been annulled by the voices of dead men. I too, was lost thinking the same way until the Holy Spirit open my eyes an showed me how scripture rightly divides itself.
“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endures forever.” Psalms 119:160
When we are divided from this world in mind, body and spirit we see the very thing that is not of the Father’s will. We can see all three types of sins that divides the Lord’s will from the world: therefore, being all subjugated under God’s spiritual stopwatch. It is imperative that your time is not wasted, for God is a spirit, a Spirit that transcends time; has it not been said, “The Lord is an on-time God, yes HE is.”
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:16)
Faith as Gentiles
According to the parable of the Ten Virgins, five were foolish and five were wise as stated beforehand VIRIGIN points to the pureness of their faith, these women only believed in one faith, the same faith of the bridegroom. Peter and the disciple’s walk as virgins after the Messiah’s ascension into heaven and unlike us we have been fornicating with dominations built on the foundation of men concepts and precepts with a sprinkle of truth here and sprinkle of truth there. Moreover, Judas did not commit fornication, he committed adultery because he walked, talked and ate with Yeshua, and yet he still desired the way of the world more than the Gospel of Salvation.
This is not the same with us who have come into the Messiah’s faith as gentiles (unbelievers), and before time we have severed idols while using the Lord’s name in vain. We must not close off the door of our hearts to the Lord to continue to follow the way of the world. We all have grieved the Holy Spirit, for God is a jealous God. operating in the names of vain worship, as if His name is not above all names in heaven and on earth by chosen to share His glory with IDOLATRY, God forbid. Is it not written in scripture that Peter, Paul and the Prophets says that our redeemer is a tried stone, a sure cornerstone to our foundation that teaches and shows us the facts about: ‘WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?”
Follow the Lamb
The 144,000 men virgin spoken of in The Book of Revelation knew no other women (church, denomination, ministry) all were FOLLOWERS who believed that Yeshua (Jesus) was the Messiah, John the baptizer sent a hiding message by his disciples saying, “are you the one to come,” and the wisemen, and the governors of the province of Rome proclaimed Him as, “The King of the Jews,” and His disciples were sent out to teach and baptized every nation who would believe in His WAY.
“And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.” (Revelation 14:3-5; 7:1-8)
When it closes?
What side of the Lord’s door will you (the church) be standing on when it closes. When time as we know of ceases when the SON (builder) of man returns. Many will be like unto the ten virgins who all were off duty sleeping but while they were all awaken only five were called wise. Like the five wise we must remain watchful until the return of the bridegroom. Why are we watching? Well, the ten virgins did not have to become timekeepers for no man knows the time, but they had to KEEP watch over their spiritual foundation while the bridegroom was away. It is the only thing in us along with our gifts that transcends time. Often times I have heard people say they are spiritual, but not religious. But when I say that is good because Yahweh is Spirit, it seems as if the light in their eyes begins looking deeply within their souls.
The online platform name Bible Hub explains: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. For The Spirit is God, and it is fitting that those who worship him worship in The Spirit and in The Truth.” God is Spirit, and those who worship God must be led by the Spirit to worship him according to the truth.” John 4:22-26
The Five wise virgin keep the word of God for the word keep in Hebrew and Greek means to be WATCHFUL, and the only way to be watchful is to keep your temple dedicated or sanctified by the word of the Lord by His word, the guiding light of the Holy Spirit. No one but Christ has mastered the whole law perfectly, and when you keep his word close to your heart indeed you are being watchful of his perfect way. Saints this is the ‘orderly arrangement’ it is our lively hope that was laid before any foundation of the world was ever to be. Yeshua only knows His sheep when they hear and follow Him through His word, for it is written:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)
Half
“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:40-42; Luke 17:33-36
Half were shut out in the Parable of the Ten Virgins. Half was left behind. In this statement Yeshua (Jesus) tells His disciples a prophetic truth. However, this time He did not speak in a parable although a parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning this was pointing to the nations who chooses not to follow the ‘orderly arrangement.’ Order and arrangement are the Greek meaning cosmos- cosmos is where we get the word world from.
Division
A division of half were shutout in the parable of the Ten Virgin and a half who represented the nations of the world were left behind. What is so powerful is that when that half was shutout and the other half left behind, they have become witnesses of the Messiah’s returns. Christ reminds His disciples of two very powerful dogmatic statements. He tells, Thomas. “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” (John 20:29) Why?
The Lord knew our generation would have to follow the Lamb of God according to the ‘narrow way.’ If we say we are his believers then Christ shares with us, “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: (Luke 12:51; Matthew 10:34-36) In other words, those who walk by their own sight will become witnesses on that great day, you must reason with yourself today. Is it better to be a witness at this hour on this side of the door before the Messiah returns? Or afterwards, when the door of eternal Sabbath (rest) is closed?
