“But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the LORD, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up.” -1 Kings 21:25
Signs that a nation is under Baal influences are parent(s) who are putting or leaving their children to the fire (excessive punishment or rebuke (scolding), prostitution to brands or person(s) which includes idolatry worship, oven, hot car deaths. “And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.” -2 Kings 17:17; Leviticus 18:21 Men who cannot decern the will of Yahweh are easily led astray by beauty, controlling and manipulative Jezebel Spirit. “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:14.
Why are not these things being proclaimed so that the sheep goes not astray. “Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” -Matthew 9:37 It is written “Try the spirit, by the spirit and know rather it is from Yahweh”, go and hear for yourselves that is what the Samaritan men of the city done. When they went out to verify the testimony of the Samaritan woman concerning the Son of Yahweh, it is written. “And many more believed because of His own word; And said unto the woman, now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.” -John 4:41
The disciples understood this as well “And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulcher; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.” Luke 24:12-13
The spirit of Jezebel loves the sensation of control and keeping fake news in the air that is one way this evil spirit lives. It reminds me of a biblical text when Yahshua cast out a legion of demons; and they cried out to be sent into the swine who ran themselves violently off a cliff. It is safe to say if one refuses to Repent from demonic influence, it will lead them to a physical and spiritual death even as the pigs knew something was not right. A Jezebel spirit does not care if you are a woman or man. It is like walking with someone and they stop right in the middle of what they were doing and direct all their body, mind and even at the cost of their soul/life focusing their attention on you. If they are not alone it is often said misery loves company, so they invite others to join in saying, “that’s him or that’s her”.
Solomon was approached by a Jezebel spirit that entered his mother after she was manipulated by Solomon’s oldest stepbrother named Adonijah. He wanted to marry one of David’s virgin harems (concubine). (Many harems were offered to kings from other kings for peace offerings, in which many were their virgin daughters. Many remained virgins, afterwards like Abishag David’s concubine.) While Soloman had godly wisdom in decerning a Jezebel spirit he was able to identify it in his mother’s request.
He RESPECTFULLY refuses her wishes; and just as Jezebel stirred up hate against Yahweh’s anointed. Adonijah who was plotting to take away Solomon’s anointed rights to throne given to him by his father David also received the same death sentence as Jezebel, for it is written. “Bathsheba therefore went to King Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her and bowed down to her and sat down on his throne and had a throne set for the king’s mother; so, she sat at his right hand. Then she said, “I desire one small petition of you; do not refuse me.” (permission to petition) And the king said to her, “Ask it, my mother, for I will not refuse you.” So, she said, “Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as wife.”
And King Solomon answered and said to his mother, “Now why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also—for he is my older brother—for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.” Then king Solomon swore by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life. Now therefore, as the LORD lives, which hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me a house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day.” 1 King 2:19-23
When Yahshua was shown to Him a woman who committed adultery by the leaders who claimed to uphold Torah. Decerning their spirit Yahshua asked them, “if they are without sin throw the first stone”. They could not because it was lust in their hearts, it was an evil spirit trying to find accusation against Yahshua. They carried Torah but Torah was not in their hearts for it is written “The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD?’ Those who deal with the law [Torah] did not know me; the leaders rebelled against me. The prophets prophesied by Baal, following worthless idols.” -Jeremiah 2:8 NIV; 1 Samuel 12:21
Yahshua displayed, the power of Yahweh’s Mercy and He also shared with the woman who committed adultery when He said, “neither do I”. Grace followed immediately afterwards when Yahshua said, “sin no more.” It has been said sin is the transgression of Yahweh’s Will. Those leaders had transgressed Torah which is Yahweh’s provision when they accused her. But she could not have committed adultery by herself. Where was the man whom she lied down with? It is written they both supposed to be stoned to death; and in our time scolded by trustworthy elders, family or friends who believes in soul saving.
