“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” I Peter 1:15-17
The Book of Leviticus is Moses’ third book called “Vayikra,” Vayikra means Yahweh called. “Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I the LORD (Yahweh) your God (Elohim) am holy.” “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” Leviticus 20:7; John 17:17 Yeshua, reiterates His Father’s message “SANCTIFY them through THY truth”. Getting right to it, we are called to be HOLY because it is written that the witnesses are within us and if the witnesses are within, by what means do they witness. John penned, “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son.” 1 John 5:10
Before the Israelites entered into the wilderness, they were in the Land of Goshen for at least 210 to 300 years freely under The Hyksos period. The Israelites were pulled into slavery for at least 130 years or less before Yahweh (the Lord) called Moses, to lead them out of bondage. Can you imagine how slavery could have taken a great hold upon Israel’s concept of being and their overall thinking while rambunctiously parading themselves like the remnant of Judah in America are doing today.
We are not talking about the 10 lost or scattered tribes which includes Ephraim (EU, USA) and Manasseh (BK). But a remnant of people who has seem to not yet understand they have a heavenly Father who art in heaven hollow or holy is His Name. (Read Matthew 6:9-13) The Israelites knew the names of Egypt’s gods and goddess with the most famous one was Ptah (Apis) the god of Memphis, represented by a bull. (Halley’s Bible Handbook) the Egyptians went from a monotheistic faith but after the new dawn arose, they started serving and worshipping animals and Yahweh uses their own gods against them concerning the ten plagues that fell upon Egypt.
Moses was a type of Christ, and what was self-evidence that Aaron allowed the children of God to lust and fashioning a golden calf in the absence of Moses. Is this going on today behind the pulpits Shepards have forsaken the return of the Christ and have allowed Yahweh’s sheep to be scattered by the desires of this world, looking back lusting after the past like Abraham’s cousin, Lot’s wife did.
Forty years had passed since Moses fled Egypt; and being unsure about a lot of things but this thing he had no doubt in that Israel had forgotten the name of their forefather’s Elohim (God) and he did not know either. Every nation had their own gods, and their gods had names. Moses was in a time where gods roamed the earth just as they are openly doing today many are being worshipped as we speak artists, actors, businessperson, sports, and etc., Are we crafting ourselves a golden calf to worship while waiting for Christ’s return. Yahweh forbids.
Have you ever witnessed anywhere in scripture where any of the patriarchs or matriarch whom Yahweh CALLED or CHOOSEN went out in their own name. Mary said “BEHOLD, the handmaid of the Lord [Yahweh].” David said, “Thou comes to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts…” Yeshua (Jesus) says “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”
“… Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, what is his name? what shall I say unto them?” Genesis 3:13
Moses had to go before a nation that had lost their identity drunken by the gods of pleasure and perplexed by the demons of slavery. Before time, the Israelites enjoyed the land of Goshen for centuries however in their enjoyment they stop believing, they stop worshipping, stop praising (Judah) and stop praying to Yahweh. The foundational generations start out strong, but the 4th generation are bathing in knowledge, but blinded to their spiritual regression. We have gone from pictograph on cave wall to emojis and we believe that is progress. Why so?
In the end times there will be an up and down increase of knowledge; and the next time someone rejoices about something they learned at the speed of light. Ask them who taught them and 9 out of 10 their response will be “social media” it is written. “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and from, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4 Satan is having a field day wrecking lives in the name of social media and turning people into certified jesters for a coming king. The last time we heard the phrase to and from was when “…the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?” Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, from going to and from in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” Job 1:7
All of this knowledge at the speed of light and yet we refuse to learn how to approach Yahweh in holiness even in the name of Yeshua (Jesus). Likewise, Israel became void of knowledge of Yahweh long before they were placed into slavery. This is self-evident because they did not know who to call upon while in bondage, the bible says that God (Elohim, Yeshua) heard their groaning and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob it is written.
“Likewise, the Spirit also helped our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and he that searches the hearts knowing what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:26-39
Many today have become arrogant and prideful as long as the outside is looking good it is okay to be confused and lost on the inside. This easily happens when we become possessed with a person, place or thing it replaces Yahweh’s love and fills us up with false worship. Like Moses, Yahweh called the Fathers before him out of darkness, but Moses is the only one who asks WHOM should I say sent me. (Read Exodus 3:14) Yahweh tells Moses I Am All THAT I AM. LET the children of Israel KNOW I AM the ONE that cause all things TO BE, ALL THINGS to exists. There is none before ME and none after ME for it is written, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come–the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 48:12
The Holy writ tells us that when Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, Abram believed which is a type of circumcision of the heart but notice after their agreement the fowls (adversary, poor teachings) came. Every time Yahweh plants a seed in your heart the unclean birds will come and press to steal that seed that has been sown into your hearts. (Read Genesis 15:11; Matthew 13:4) Moses driven off those greedy and overbearing shepherd kings, a metaphor pointing to (verbally abusive, controlling and money ministries) meaning to devour or eat up. “Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock, and the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.” Exodus 2:16-17 Daniel penned, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people…” Luke penned, Stephen said, “Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
As we grow in proclaiming Yahweh’s truth, we must be mindful that if we are not on guard or sanctified before breaking the show bread we too can be greatly deceived. Yahweh shares the (A’s) & (B’s), the good news and the bad news, the life and the death always giving you a choice to build, grow and multiply in His word. However, Satan shares what is pleasing to the flesh this is how he deceived Eve, but he will not share the (B) clause of scripture. Here we will read Yahweh’s response to Moses’s question, “Whom should I say sent me? “MOREOVER…Thus shall say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” Exodus 3:15
When the Israelites came out of bondage it is liken unto you when you repented, we were all born under the wages of sin. The wilderness is where every believer will go into to learn the narrow way. The Israelites have been in Egypt like Abraham was in his land Ur for quite some time and the stench of paganism was all over them and around just as it is with us today. Nevertheless, Yahweh stills remembers His promises. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19; James 4:5; Hebrews 7:21) (Read Exodus 2:23-25)
Before Christ, all humankind was separated from Yahweh even Adam and Eve being godlike (giants) themselves their actions caused them TO BE separated from the presence of Yahweh or the Shekinah Glory who we call the Holy Spirit for it is written. “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God CALLED unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” Genesis 3:8 So, it is safe to say according to Peter that you were called out of DARKNESS to be a chosen race. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” -1 Peter 2:9-10
As Moses orchestrated Israel civil, sanitary, ceremonial, moral and religious laws centuries before they entered into Babylonian captivity. Babylon is where the puppet priests began to add and rewrite the Torah calling it the Babylonian Talmud, for this cause in the time of Yeshua (Jesus) he calls them a board of vipers. Remember Solomon penned, “there is nothing new under the sun…” So, either your church is adding to or following the foundation that which was already laid out by the Messiah. A few Jewish priest who mostly were not of Aaronic priesthood enforce added laws and rituals onto the Judean people.
Yahweh called us to walk in His theme of righteousness sealed by the blood of His son, the Holy lamb of God, Yeshua (Jesus) was proclaimed in the Torah (law), by the Prophets and the testimonies of the disciples and witnesses). Read Isaiah 6:18; 20 If we KEEP (be mindful) of Yahweh’s eternal laws this would have a symbolic as well as spiritual connotation to keep us sanctified as a ‘holy bride’ without spot or wrinkle because it is written. “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. For I promised you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2
REPENT! SEEK THE LORD WHY HE MAY BE FOUND.
