A Pharaoh’s Mindset

November 15, 2022

Fear-of-loss is a catalyst operating in anyone at any given time to cause a form of fear. A fear that comes about when we are perplexed by circumstances that makes one feel a loss of power or positioning. Egypt’s Pharaoh, the newly king of Egypt had this mindset when he believed in his heart that the children of Israel were going to join his enemies one day and rise against him. A Pharaoh’s mindset is likened to an intimidator, one who intimidates to prove their personal dis-easement. When we are moved by ‘fear of loss’ there is an infighting going on within us it is like an inner tug-a-war between the spirit and the flesh. This tug-a-war is driven by the laws that governs the flesh which pulls against the Spirit. “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” -Roman 8:5

Can one truly comprehend the kingdom of heaven at hand if you are warp up in a web of deceptions. We must take the time, to think about this question: Who is really in fear of loss? The intimidated (one who is being intimidated) or the intimidator (one who is intimidating). When you have to prove your self-righteous acts, you are driven by the works of the flesh and its vague realit. Pharaoh’s mindset is led by a wanting spirit that produces, anxiousness, greed, lust and etc. The Lord has provided us a spiritual check and balance system call the Bible and when we cannot give thanksgiving unto Yahshua (Jesus) in everything that we do or say at the end of the day it is because the moral compass has been surpressed. Proverbs 16:3 tells us to, “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

When our flesh outweighs the knowledge of Yahweh’s word in our hearts, we become as puppets for Satan’s kingdom because we did not resist the devil.“Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, the spirit that dwelleth in us lusted to envy? But he gives more grace; wherefore, he saith, God resist the proud, but gives grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”  -James 4:4-7, Luke 18:14, Psalms 138:6 KJV

GROW IN GOD’s GRACE

The Bible says that a new king rose over Egypt and this new king reign during what historians call the ‘New Kingdom’ around the 18th/19th dynasty between 3100-1200 BC.  This is fascinating when reading the holy writ concerning Joseph who was once second in command in the land of Egypt. He was given that office by the Pharaoh, the term king was not mentioned “And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.” -Genesis 41:41; Daniel 6:3. Many generations have passed when this new king came into political power, Satan caused a fear of loss that rose, and he began to fear the numbers of God’s people.

“Therefore, they did set over them taskmasters to inflict them with their burdens.” -Exodus 1:11; Deuteronomy 26:6.

But the more they were afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.” -Exodus 1:12 KJV

“And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.” Genesis 13.16 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.” -Genesis 17:4

When you are inflicted by the Adversary it is because you are grieving the accurser of the brothering. So if you are not grieving Satan you are grieving the Holy Sprirt the you grow, the children of Yahweh are afflicted either as a nation and/or messianic believer of Yahshua (Jesus). but remember the Grace of Yahweh is upon you. Moreover, keep in mind that without humility there is no honor, the rule to be an overcomer in Yahshua is simple. “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” Matthew 23:12.

“And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” -Genesis 12:3

The adversary is here to kill, steal and destroy God’s kingdom you will even notice that everything the Lord’s blesses you with, the enemy is offended. The saints must learn to see the glass of adversity half-full and not half-empty the synonym of the word blessed is cursed. When Satan send forth wicked devices or schemes by the hands of demons (fallen angles) to devour the will of the saints, just remember they are offended by Yahweh’s blessings upon you. “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” -Romans 8:28 KJV Not your good and not their good, but the Lord’s GOOD!

Greatly Dislike, Greatly Blessed

When the enemy curses, The Lord Blesses who He chooses because there lies a rule for honorable engagement for those who call themselves ‘BELIEVERS’, and this engagement is prayer. Prayer is always on time for it is written: “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry…” Psalms 34:14-15 KJV. Yahweh is the only one who give His children their bread and water in due season.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Today we are all benefiting from the results of past righteous movers, but did you know they were greatly dislike by many while they lived, and according to a 1966 Gallup poll, “it was found that almost two-thirds of Americans had an unfavorable opinion of Dr. King and a third had a positive opinion, a 26-point unfavorable rate increase from 1963.” Smithsonian reported, “in 1968 Harris Poll reported a 75% disapproval rate for Dr. King.” Nevertheless, these great men and women were driven by an invisible force while believing in a Messiah who could heal their land. Peacemakers like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, Cesar Chaves, Fanny Hamer, Susan B. Anthony and many more to name a few all walked in the ways of non-violence during times of great afflictions fought on their knees and by being present in the face of resistance.

It was Satan who offered us wordly glory or false glamour not Christ so there should not be any need to think otherwise because Isaiah shares with us that beauty would not be what draws you to the Messiah he writes “…and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should DESIRER HIM.” Isaiah 53:2 and John pens many will turn away because his teachings were too hard. “Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, this is a hard saying; who can hear it?” And he said, “Therefore, said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.” From that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.” John 6:60-66

ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

Many have family members they will not even speak with but as soon as their time expires here on earth, they become the busiest one in the family trying to prove their unwavering loyalty. I tell you Yeshua whom we call Jesus is well and alive, today. He knows His sheep because they stand upon His living Word. We have to turn from our own wicked ways daily and if we keep ignoring the price tag that was paid by our forefathers and mothers thinking that freedom means the freewill to trample on the bridges of honor, humility and respect for person, place or thing, then indeed we are avoiding the attribute of a righteous God. “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God…”  -Micah 6:8 KJV

When the Pharisees began to destroy the attributes of God righteousness they were driven by a Pharaoh’s mindset and Yeshua compares them to taskmasters. “…they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” -Mathew 23:4 KJV “…and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone” -Matthew 23:23 KJV

GOD SETS THE THRONE

It is the will of Yahweh (the Lord) who set the thrones of the earth. Yeshua (Jesus) himself tells Pilate “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above.” “…he removes kings, and sets up kings… For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putted down one and sets up another.” -John 19:11; Daniel 2:21; Psalms 75: 6-7. God is a jealous God, and every hand that comes against Yahweh’s appointed times He rises up a type of Pharaoh when the people of the land abuses what we believe to be call permissive will or becomes comfortable in wickedness. Look at history from around the world when our will becomes God of our foundation. Yahweh will seat the throne it does not matter what nation you are what race you are from a king is a king.

By no means are we to walk in blind faith for the Greek work faith is pitis means to obey. Now, the question is what or who do we obey? We obey that same WILL that governed Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They all had to believe in the promises and these promises grafted them into the Messianic faith that was soon to come. Now there are Jews who are still blind which is stated in scripture, but it does not annul, the facts that Yeshua (Jesus) would be and still is the King of Jews. A great number are understanding that Yahshua is the Messiah that came as a type of King Solomon and will return as a type of King David.

The Lord desires none to be lost and if we do not understand these things, how long do you suppose His GRACE period will not turn your prayers into cries of MERCY. We have seen how anti-democratic nations exists, are we desiring to repeat the same thing that Israel complained about not having, a King to be like other nations. The Lord gave them a king but not without warning it is written

And he said, this will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. 1 Samuel 8:11-18
