How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? —but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. -Matthew 16:11-12
(These teachers were known to have a great memorization they would gas up themselves like yeast gas up bread. The process of yeast causes fermentation which causes the bread to rise. Anyone today can become a Pharisee or Sadducee simply by allowing their emotions or self-righteousness to rise above Yahweh’s eternal word).
